Commissions

Commissioned work can be really special, and the collaboration aspect is something I encourage and celebrate. Delving into your requests and bringing life to your ideas is a dynamic way to make curated, intimate art. The process demands open communication and honest dialogue, but I find the results to be well worth it!

When time permits, as commissions can be fairly time consuming, I accept requests for a wide array of subject matter. Each piece is taken on a case by case basis, however I do my best to be flexible within your constraints and parameters while maintaining the integrity of my own artistic expression.

All it takes to get started is the seed of an idea! Whether you have a concrete vision in mind or just a vague concept you’d like to breath life into, feel free to send me an email with your thoughts. Please know that the first back-and-forths will discuss subject matter, color story, dimensions, materials, possible placement, pricing, timing and intent. Remember, this can seem really intimidating at first but art is meant for everyone!

Pet Portraiture!

One of the most frequent commission requests I receive is about capturing our beloved furry friends, which I love! I approach each portrait with the diligence, care and attention they deserve.

I tend to paint the portraits on framed glass, a distinct look that lends itself nicely to the feeling of a family portrait. All it takes is a few reference photos to get started! In person meet and greets, with puppy kisses, is always a bonus.
